How Much Do Dental Implants Cost? Dental Implants Hamilton FAQs

How Much Do Dental Implants Cost? Dental Implants Hamilton FAQs

How much do dental implants cost? This is a question we receive a lot at our dental implant Hamilton practice.

Generally speaking, you can expect to pay between $1,500 to $20,000 for dental implants depending on the treatment plan and the number of teeth you want to replace.

This number will of course vary depending on the type of work needed, the number and type of implant, the dentist performing the implant, how many teeth are being replaced, etc.

While that number may seem daunting, remember that your insurance may cover some of the costs. You may also be able to find financing options to help with the dental implants cost.

If you want to understand more about dental implants, we’ll work to answer the most common questions below.

What Is the Single Tooth Implant Cost

Again, the price will vary according to a variety of factors (see above).

Generally speaking, however, you won’t find that the single tooth implant cost drops below $900 – and that’s on the very low end.

The more sophisticated the procedure, the higher the quality implant and more experienced the dental specialist performing said procedure, the higher the price will climb, as you’d expect.

How Much Do Full Mouth Implant Supported Solutions Cost

As mentioned above, the high end full dental implant cost can reach five figures.

Patients may opt for an all-on-4 dental implant/ ProArch procedures which is another type of dental implant solution which can restore your entire smile.

What Are Dental Implants

Your dental implant is an artificial root made of titanium metal. It would be inserted into the jawbone to replace the root of your natural tooth. Following the insertion of the root, an artificial replacement tooth crown is affixed to the implant. The implant will be an anchor and hold the replacement tooth in place.

Why Not Dentures or Bridges

While each person has different tastes, we find that most people prefer the look and feel of dental implants to dentures or bridges. Dental implants tend to look more natural, feel better, and won’t damage your remaining natural teeth the way dentures and bridgework may.

Who Will Do the Procedure

The procedure is performed by a specialist periodontist. They receive additional training on top of going to dental school in order to become experts in dental implants and other similar oral procedures.

Is the Procedure Painful

We strive to ensure that you are comfortable the entire time you are in our care.

We make use of proven techniques, the finest equipment, and you’ll be taken care of by one of Canada’s leading periodontists, Dr. Michael Glogauer.

In other words, you can rest easy knowing that your procedure will be as pain-free as possible. You will be given the personal cell phone number of the surgeon so you can contact us 24 hours per day, 7 days per week if you have any questions or problems.

Better yet, you can make use of our sedation dentistry services. We are licensed to provide sedation to patients that require it or request it, ensuring that you won’t feel uncomfortable or fearful when your implants are placed.

Restore your smile, restore your confidence – and do it all without pain or discomfort.
